SIMCO's CleanTrac Ultra-Clean Ionization Bar is available with either tungsten or non-metallic emitters made of germanium. Unlike silicon emitters, germanium remains as a gas during oxidization and does not form deposits, thereby providing particle-free ionization. The CleanTrac Ionization Bar uses a patented gas flow technology with Clean Dry Air (CDA) to eliminate the buildup of contaminants on the emitters. CleanTrac is specifically designed for use in Class 1 areas such as mini-environments and laminar flow benches where particle contamination and control of electrostatic charges are critical concerns.
